Basically what the title says. I have 2-factor authentication set up with GMail and use the GMail app on my iPhone and iPad. The way the app seems to work is you use 2-factor authentication once when you configure your account, then forevermore it opens your email when you open the app with no password or pin requirement. Got to settings--- type the exchange email -- then select sync contacts and sync calendars. From there make sure you use Google contacts and Google calendars and set them to your default app. The standard contacts and calendars app that come with the phone have sync issues with the Outlook app. I currently set this for all my android users.
